[ PRESS RELEASE ]
Orale’s second location will feature a large private dining space and specialty dishes
Orale, one of Jersey City’s most popular restaurants, will open an outpost in the Mile Square City in late fall/early winter of 2018. Margaritas, guacamole, and tacos for all, all the time. To borrow the restaurant’s translation: C’mon in!
The restaurant will take over the former space of Porter Collins, located at 1426 Willow Avenue. Plans for the space include a main dining room area with loud, pumping music and graffiti-laden walls, and a cocktail centric bar program which will be more low-key with late hours. In another exciting departure from the Jersey City location, there will also be a larger private dining space, accommodating up to 100 guests.
As one of Jersey City’s most beloved mainstays, Orale has become known for a menu that’s distinctive and craveable, an atmosphere that’s dynamic and vibrant, and a frozen margarita that’s strong and delicious. It’s where a carefully-curated tequila list meets a Happy Hour Corona. It’s where a quick drink after work can turn into a elegant date night.
Guests can expect carry-over of the same regionally-inspired Mexican cuisine at the new location, as well as much of what we all look forward to on those week days. There will also be specialty dishes exclusive to the Hoboken outpost, dreamed up by a team that’s always focused on creating new flavors that respect tradition. As with all things Orale, expect a fresh and original food and beverage menu.
“We’re excited to bring our signature food, drinks and vibe to Hoboken,” said Alex Mendelsohn, Orale’s co-owner. “We’ve worked hard to make Orale the most consistently delicious and fun place to be in Jersey City, and we’re looking forward to achieving the same thing on an even bigger scale in Hoboken.”
